The State Duma of the Russian Federation ratified on 21 October 2009 the Russian-Tajik intergovernmental agreement on the establishment and operation of the Pamir-Chacaltaya International Scientific Research Centre.
On 30 October 2009, the Federation Council on 257 plenary meeting approved the ratification of this agreement.
The Tajik Parliament ratified the Agreement earlier on 12 February 2009.
